Month of (June) 2009, Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT) completed a record-breaking 150,340 moves with an average crane productivity of 36 gross moves per hour (mph) in addition to achieving the highest daily count of moves per day since the start of operations with a total of 8,015 moves in 24 hours, giving a berth productivity of 214 mph.

Robert Hambleton, recently appointed chief commercial officer believes that SCCT volumes, “Have grown in real terms as well as compared to our competition, capitalising on the market conditions (and) we look forward to continued growth and working closely with our customers at all times.”
